I have tears writing this post. Toby is not getting along with my younger, smaller dog and they have been in a few fights lately. I just can't risk keeping them together. I want to find a person that can care for her needs. She is very sweet and listens well. Just needs a calm environment without other dogs in the living situation. My name is Jason. She is currently in my care. 612-805-8943 Thank You!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Chesapeake Bay Retriever in Minnesota
Chesapeake Bay Retriever Dogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever, or Chessie, is a friendly, smart, medium sized breed. Chessies like to have their own way and can be a bit slow to obedience. Owners should be firm authority figures with experience training strong willed dogs. Chessies are wonderful with children. The Chesapeake Bay retriever is more aggressive than other retrievers, especially with other dogs, and needs to be thoroughly socialized. Chessies like to be outside and do well with a decent sized yard or some land.
