     Hi Jeff, I signed up for Rescue Me! notifications in the Fall of 2013. My husband really wanted to wait until after the first of the year so we could be 'full-time parents' with no distractions. I received a notice for my state but we wanted a male so I clicked on surrounding states and found Cooper. His owner is in the service and had to go in for training and relocate for over six months. We e-mailed right away and he responded right away, the rest is history. We are now the extremely happy owners of a male, 3-1/2 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. We are staying in touch with his original owner and are so happy he used this channel to bring this amazing dog into our lives. Thank you for the service you provide!

     Rebel has a new home and couldn't be happier! His new owner welcomed him as if he was her lost son returning from a distant adventure. Rebel is a very personable retriever and when he first met his new owner, knew he was being placed in the best home he could ever find. His new owner is a perfect fit and knows Chessies very well.
